Minh-Huy Tran brings deep experience in telecommunications, infrastructure investment, and technology-led growth, specializing in fiber deployment, fixed wireless access, and emerging connectivity solutions. At Telenor he oversaw half of the company’s capital expenditure, scaling fiber infrastructure while validating market opportunities, building sales strategies, and ensuring strong returns.
Tran led initiatives across mobile, satellite, smart cities, robotics, and drones, and co-founded the GSMA Drones Group to advance global collaboration on drone connectivity. He played a central role in the strategic demerger of Telenor’s fiber company and remains passionate about digital inclusion as foundational to sustainable development.
He holds an MA in CRM from Oslo School of Management and the University of Hertfordshire (graduating with distinction), has completed executive education at INSEAD and London Business School, and is a Telenor Group Global Accelerate leader. Tran is also the youngest and first Vietnamese elected to a Norwegian city council.
